Well, hey there, 2013!!!! Where did you just come from, you sneaky-little-year-you? I swear 2012 was the fastest year of my life. I had a lot of great moments that came and went in a blink of an eye. Here's a glimpse 2012 in the life of Abigail:
January 2012: Abigail starts teaching Zumba at CRC
February 2012: Reuben sends his love through the mail while being TDY in Oklahoma
March 2012: I made a salad to take to work; Seyo found it on the counter...yes, the counter!!! Bad kitty...
April 2012: Reuben and I have a blast at Jeju Island, South Korea
May 2012: I did not sleep
June 2012: Reuben Newton became Chief Newton
July 2012: Zumba demonstration at the pool
August 2012: We laughed
September 2012: We ran
October 2012: My parents came to visit...yay!!!
November 2012: There was a lot to be thankful for this November
December 2012: An amazing end to an amazing year
Polar Bear Run:
Christmas in Bali
December 31, 2012 in Seoul
January 1, 2013
As you can see, I have a pretty incredible life. If this is what 2012 offered, I'm ecstatic about starting 2013. Especially if 2013 started with kissing that hot guy in that above picture...whoo hoo! Go me! I have plans for this upcoming year; I am going to dominate 2013! First of all, the ever popular resolutions:
1. No soda
2. Try one new recipe a week
3. "Debt Free" Dave Ramsey plan with the husband
4. At least three morning workouts a week (prework)
5. Write blog post every other week; when I'm not writing, update blog
These resolutions speak for themselves, but please notice, there isn't a thing on there about losing weight, maintaining weight, hitting the gym, running certain miles, or any of that jazz that usually ends about the third week of January. I made easy, manageable, trackable goals. During this year, I will continue to take my graduate school courses, but first, let's give a shoulder brush to Abigail Newton for ending these past two courses with a perfect 100 average...yep, in both classes. (Genius moments do happen for me, just not while writing blog posts.) I'm also starting a workout group in a nearby apartment complex; in fact, I need to leave here in a hot minute to make it for our first session. My husband and I will continue to laugh and enjoy our marriage while not taking a single moment for granted. I will be more active with teaching children's church at Uijeongbu Community Church: an amazing fellowship. And most importantly, I won't murder my cat. I hate to end this post so quickly, but I want to leave you with enough time to look back over my pictures and admire my happiness, but also, I still need to get ready to meet my new group of ladies. Before I leave, I will say thank you so much for being patient with my sporadicness; it's like trying to watch Grey's Anatomy, a new episode airs every other month much like my blogs. But again, that ends in 2013. I have a lot of aspirations for this blog; I am ready to go GLOBAL!!! Hahahah, yeah, okay, but I am ready to give it a bit more depth. With that being said, I'll be back in two weeks!!!
